Task, 15 minutes: choose one real failure or disagreement. Write four short STAR bullets, then record a 90-second answer in English without reading them. Ask yourself two follow-ups: "What did you personally decide?" and "How do you know the result improved?"
Check your work:
- The situation and task make the constraint understandable. Actions distinguish your contribution from the team's work without taking others' credit.
- Every number has a source you can explain. Without a reliable metric, use a specific observed outcome and acknowledge the limit.
- Describe an alternative you considered, why you chose your path, and what you would change next time.
- Listen once and replace a vague phrase, such as "improved performance", with the actual evidence. Try the answer again on a later day.
Follow-up: adapt the same facts to a different question without inventing a new achievement. Practice a short clarification when you do not understand an interviewer's wording.
